Martin Berzins, University of Utah, Salt Lake City, Utah, USA

Martin Berzins is a Professor and Associate Director of the School of Computing at the University of Utah, USA. Martin is on extended leave from the University of Leeds where he is Professor of Scientific Computation at the School of Computing and where he was Dean of Research in the Faculty of Engineering.

Martin is a member of the NAG Ltd Technical Policy Committee, a Fellow of the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications (IMA). Chartered Mathematician (C.Math) and a member of the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM).

Martin's relationship with NAG goes back to testing differential equations software upon graduation and has followed through work on writing differential equations software to more recently applying these same techniques and concepts to large simulation software projects in the USA.
