This is the README file for the NAGWare Fortran Tools Release 4.0.

1. Installation

   Installation instructions, requirements and testing instructions
   are provided in the file TECHINFO.

   Installation should be carried out using the script provided. Do
   not edit this script, you will be prompted for all installation
   instructions. The script allows you to install, to directories of
   your choice, the entire tool suite or the subsets listed below:

         NAGWare f95 Tools
         NAGWare f77 Tools
         NAGWare f77 to f90 Converter

   The tools can also be run directly from the CD or the
   distribution directory, see TECHINFO for details.

2. Licensing

   NAGWare Fortran Tools is a licence-managed product using FLEXLM 
   (exceptionally, an implementation will not have licence management; see the 
   Machine-specific Details section of the file TECHINFO).  If you downloaded 
   it from the web you will also need to download the licensing software and 
   request a licence.

   Full details on installation of the licensing software and the licence are
   in the file LICENCE.  

   The use of all supplied software must be in accordance with the terms and
   conditions of the Software Licence signed by NAG and each site.  Any request
   to use NAG software on a computer other than the one licensed must be
   referred to NAG.

3. Release Notes

   Brief notes on the differences between the NAGWare f77 tools
   Release 2.0, NAGWare f90 Tools Release 2.1, NAGWare f77 to f90
   Converter Release 1.0 and the current version included in this
   product are in the file RELNOTES and RELNOTES.html.
