- Updated Information on Calling the Library from NAG Fortran Builder
The advice on calling the DLL from the Fortran Builder IDE is updated as follows:
Using the DLL from within the Fortran Builder IDE itself is also easy, following
steps like these:
- Create a new Console Project
- Go to Project Settings via the Project menu
- Click the Directories tab, then the Include tab
- Add the include directory install dir\nag_interface_blocks_nagfor
(note that you should not put any quotation marks around the directory name
even though it may include spaces)
- Exit from the Directories tab, then click the Link tab
- Add a link library, for example install dir\bin\FSW6I24DD.dll
(again, note that you must link to the DLL itself, not the associated import library)
- Exit from the Link tab, and click the Fortran Compiler tab, then the
Additional Options tab
- Click the Add button, and add the option -i8
- Click the Detail (1) tab
- Select the -thread_safe option
- Exit from Project Settings, build the project and run your program in the usual way
