Any additional information related to this implementation, that came to light after the release of this product, is described below.

1. Problems invoking MATLAB from the console

   When certain libraries are loaded into memory with MATLAB in -nodesktop or -nojvm mode under the bash shell, output no longer appears on the terminal after exiting. This is a known bug in MATLAB.

   There are two known workarounds:

   1. Run MATLAB under a different shell. For example, neither tcsh or zsh have this issue.

   2. Reset the terminal after MATLAB exits by running the 'reset' command.

2. MATLAB R2011a, R2011b & R2012a Suitability

   This implementation has been tested with MATLAB versions 7.12 (R2011a), 7.13 (R2011b) and 7.14 (R2012a) and is considered suitable for use with those versions.

   Please download the latest installation package for MBMI622DDL if you wish to install this implementation under MATLAB R2011a or later. Note that the installation procedure is different from the older installation; details are available in the Installer's Note.

   Note that the person who performs the NAG Toolbox installation will need to be logged in as root.
