Product Availability

NAG products are implemented on many computing platforms. These platforms are defined by the hardware, operating system and compiler used, and this is reflected in the NAG Product Code and associated textual description.

However, please note that in a dynamic environment such as the computer industry, where mergers and takeovers happen on a regular basis, the definitions cannot be fixed for all time.

Each computing platform is described by using the current name of the manufacturer, operating system and compiler, rather than by using the names that described the computing platform at the time of implementation (if different).

In all cases, you are advised to check the 'Derivation' and Applicability' sections of the Installer's Note for specific information about a particular implementation of a NAG product.
