Public Access Software

Public access code is software and documentation that is made available for non-commercial use but in which NAG, or the original author, retains the Copyright.

NAG operates a distribution service for the following collections of public access software:

• Tcl/Tk Interface to NAG Fortran Library examples
• f2c Output Polishing Tools
• Fortran 90 Software Repository

NAG Graphics Mark 4 Interfaces

• NAG Graphics Mark 4 Interface , Tektronix 4010
• NAG Graphics Mark 4 Interface , combined Postscript/X harness
• NAG Graphics Mark 4 Interface , Open Inventor (PC or Unix)

Tcl/Tk Interface

A Tcl/Tk interface to the collection of NAG Fortran 77 Library example programs. This Tk application filters the NAG example routines according to the manual chapters, copies the example code into and the input data files to user's local directory. It allows the examples to be complied and run and displays the results. Built-in interface supports browsing, editing, recompiling and re-running the example. Works with your existing implementation of the NAG Fortran Library (makes use of the standard information files).

f2c Polisher

The f2c Polisher software is now no longer available from this Server.

Fortran 90 Software Repository

The service can be used for uploading Fortran code files which others can then examine, recover and use. Contributions will only be accepted if they are, short, concise examples of specific features of the Fortran 90, 95 or 2000 language.
