cxmkmf - makes Makefilesfor IRIS Explorer modules
cxmkmf <module name>
cxmkmf creates the Makefile which governs creation of a specified IRIS Explorer module in the current directory. The Makefile is created from the description of the module contained in the module resource (.mres) file, and has all the rules necessary to build the module; the cxmake command invokes these rules to build the module.
cxmkmf checks the value of the DEBUG environment variable; if this is non-zero, the Makefile will be created with compiler debugging options switched on.
cxmkmf uses the EXPLORERHOME environment variable in the creation of the Makefile; if this variable has not been set, it outputs an error message and stops.
cxmkmf is provided as an alternative means of accessing some of the functionality contained in the Module Builder; it is intended for users who prefer to use a text-based command line interface such as an MS-DOS Command Prompt Window.
cxmkmf is an MS-DOS batch file, which may be found in %EXPLORERHOME%\bin.
