Work Underway at IECJ
Results produced from an airline route planning system based on IRIS
Explorer. The system, which is under development at the IRIS Explorer
Center Japan, combines wind and tropopause information with a terrain
map, details of air traffic control zones and airport locations to
provide route planning support. Data provided courtesy of JAL who are
developing the major applications to collect the information required
for these visualisations.
