The IRIS Explorer geometry datatype is provided by Open Inventor (or IRIS Inventor
prior to Release 2.2) which has been used as the basis for the Virtual
Reality Modeling Language (VRML) 3-D extension to the World Wide Web.
IRIS Explorer Generated Information
These examples have all been produced using IRIS Explorer. They come
from work done for the posters
displayed at meetings of the
IRIS Explorer User's Group. Each scene has a query (the big red
question mark) which comes up in the lower right corner when the opening
viewpoint is selected. Click on the query to bring up the relevant
poster for background information about the scene.

An excellent example of work being undertaken in chemical model
viewing and interaction by Omer Casher at Imperial College can be
found here. There is also
an excellent paper
on the work. This work uses IRIS Explorer and Omer's EyeVRML viewer
with his EyeChem modules.
